What kind of game is ‘Escape Town’? How does it differ from escape rooms?
The Escape Town game mainly takes place outside in a town environment. As is the case with escape rooms, players have to solve clues – the main difference with Escape Town is that the content has been adapted to the outside environment.

The game is suitable for groups of 2 – 6 people.

The game lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours.

The address of the start point of the game in Škofja Loka is Mestni trg 11, while in Železniki it begins at St. Anthony’s church, Trnje 23.
How far in advance of the reserved time slot must players arrive at the start point.
Players should arrive at the start point 10 minutes prior to the reserved time slot.

What clothes/footwear should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and footwear should be worn that is appropriate for a walk through the town.

The game is available daily from 10am. Players must ensure they end the game before darkness falls.

What happens if I don’t finish the game in the alloted time?
Don’t worry, that won’t happen, since the game master will assist if you have any problems.
Is there an age limit for players?
Children up to the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Do players need to be physically fit? Are any particular physical skills required?
The game takes place for 1.5-2 hours and involves walking on the flat with breaks in between. Therefore no particular physical skills or condition are required.
Are there any physical hurdles that have to be negotiated during the game?
Only stairs and pavement are encountered during the game.
Can wheelchair users take part in the game?
Yes, with the assistance of a companion, since there are stairs and pavement that have to be negotiated.
Can babies (in a pushchair) be brought along?

What happens if I need to cancel a reservation?
A full refund will be given for cancellations that are sent via email to info@lokatur.si (Škofja Loka) or turizem@jzr.si (Železniki) no less than 48 hours prior to the start of the game. Players may also select a different time slot instead of receiving a refund.
Is it possible to give a reserved time slot as a gift?
Yes. Please inform the organisers by email prior to the start of the game by contacting info@lokatur.si (Škofja Loka) or turizem@jzr.si (Železniki).
Are partial refunds given if the game is not played to the end?
The clock is stopped if the game has to end due to force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances. Following an interruption of the game players can decide whether or not they would like to continue. Should they decide not to continue they are entitled to a partial refund of the amount paid.
Where is the closest car park to the start of the game?
The closest car park in Škofja Loka is Štemarje, which is opposite the bus station, while in Železniki parking is available at the church.
Can entire companies play the game (as a corporate event), or schools, etc. i.e. from 50 to 100 people?
Yes, it is possible in Škofja Loka. Since the organiser must prepare in advance for larger groups, it is necessary to send an email at least a week in advance to info@lokatur.si (Škofja Loka).
Does the organiser also provide packages that include the game, accommodation, food and tours of other tourist attractions?

Can players bring their own food and drink for consumption during the game?
Yes. Players may bring their own food and drink.
Is there anything in the game that is not suitable for those who are easily scared, such as claustrophobic spaces, sudden loud noises, etc.?
There is nothing particularly scary about the game.
What should players do in the event that they do not know how to successfully solve the clues to end the game, i.e. that they get stuck and don’t know how to proceed?
In the event that players encounter a problem, they can first turn to the clues and then, if they are still unable to make further progress, they can call the game master who will provide assistance in solving the clues.
Is it possible for those who are alone and would like to play the game to join a group of players?
In such cases the organiser will strive to find a partner. Please contact us by email to info@lokatur.si (Škofja Loka) stating when you would like to play.
Should a group book for your requested time slot, the organiser will ask if they would be prepared for you to join them and then inform the enquiree as soon as possible.
